Our Aims
Aims of our 2000 Club
We aim to provide support for charitable causes in local, National and International communities. The money raised through this lottery club is administered by the Trustees of the Heathfield Rotary Trust, which is a registered charity. The Trustees appoint a Promoter to operate the lottery on their behalf – currently this is Lawrence Muffett a previous president of the Rotary Club, and Chairman of the Trustees.
After deduction of the minimal expenses needed to run the lottery, the balance of monies raised is transferred to the Rotary Trust which means that it is accounted for and distributed in accordance with their Registered Charity objectives providing funds where and when needed.
By presenting this site on the world wide web we hope to promote awareness of this scheme to all, thus encouraging other organisations and like minded individuals to join or create a similar club in their local community. By this promotion we get more, you get more and above all those that need it get more.
To increase the membership to 2000
The 2000 Club started life as the 100 Club. Over the years it has evolved, gathering more and more members. We know that being local in Heathfield East Sussex, a small market town of around 16,000 inhabitants, that this is not a bad start.
Taking into account the rest of the county, across the south-east and the whole of the UK we can do so much more. Join today, and purchase a minimum of one number for a whole year – for just £12.00.. just contact via email and leave the rest to us.
